On September 17, 2018, Tau Beta Pi California Kappa Chapter at CSUN invited STEM Advantage, a non-profit organization that provides scholarship, mentoring and internship opportunities to the program’s cohorts. They aim to provide students”…experiential, financial and directional support, and is designed to provide the support needed to keep promising scholars in a STEM program, including skills and work experience that will assist them in landing their first position after graduation, plus graduate with less student debt“.
Dawn Digrius, Executive Director of STEM Advantage, came and shared to the students some strategies and tips on how to write a successful resume that will help land you your first job, or dream job! This time, we structured the workshop slightly differently, where we set aside sometime to do live critiques for students who have their resume ready and open for reviews. Approximately 30-35 students dropped by and benefitted from the workshop, and we wish them all the best!
