We will a few volunteers to help transport and set up the food in the room, and greeting guests and help signing them in! As for post-event tear down, volunteers will help packing up left-over snacks and food, and help transporting them to storage! Or, you can have the left-overs as snacks or dinner for the day!

CSUN on-campus grant program – Creating Pathways/Abriendo Caminos services Latino, low-income and/or first-generation CSUN transfer students in the areas of Accounting, Animation, Graphic Design, Business Management, Marketing, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and Nursing. Students who are accepted into the program gain free access to textbooks, career workshops, peer mentors and academic tutoring.
They are currently in the process of hiring Fall 2018 Peer Mentors and Tutors in the area of Manufacturing Systems Engineering starting at $14/hour.

In conjunction with the National Engineering Week 2018, CSUN ASCE is hosting a Girl Scout Day here at CSUN. A maximum of 100 girl scouts will be attending the event that includes a short campus tour and a series of design challenges to inspire them into the STEM field. The parents are invited to the event where they will be invited to an informational session to learn how to support and motivate their girls on their path to college.
